National Library of Israel J9U ID

[edit]

hello, Can someone change please the link to the National Library of Israel (P8189). It was changed to https://www.nli.org.il/en/authorities/$1. Thanks in advance. --geageaTalk 11:14, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That was fast. thanks. --geageaTalk 11:36, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This article is showing an error with TDV İslam Ansiklopedisi ID (P7314) but I don't think it is an error, because köle seems to work fine. Perhaps the pattern needs to be updated or removed. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 23:14, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed by changing köle to kole, which still works — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 14:56, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In line 834 remove pnd

  1. OLD link = 'https://www.deutsche-biographie.de/pnd$1.html?language=en',
  2. NEW link = 'https://www.deutsche-biographie.de/$1.html?language=en',

The pnd is from the old name Personennamendatei, which is now part of Gemeinsame Normdatei. Only some articles use the "pnd" in the citation section. E.g. here *not*: https://www.deutsche-biographie.de/118536117.html#dbocontent . Wikidata itself only uses the links without "pnd". Posted live and sandbox versions for comparison below — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 18:33, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Seems to work with example below. Can you confirm the version without "pnd" will always work? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 18:36, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Description of suggested change: Insert the following at Module:Authority control/config (note that the identifiers are ordered by wikidata property ID)

{'VICPARL',
  property = 12362,
  section = 6,
  pattern = '^[a-z]+(\-[a-z]+)*$',
  link = 'https://parliament.vic.gov.au/members/$1',
  label = 'Victorian Parliament',
},

The pattern needs to be updated to allow for a number at the end of the identifier, e.g. alexander-smith2 on Alexander Kennedy Smith. These are being tracked as errors on Category:Articles with faulty authority control information — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:40, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
