A note
[edit]Why is this "Mollusc's evolution" and not something more traditional, like "Evolution of the molluscs" or "Molluscan evolution". As it stands now, the title is rather clumsy-sounding, and, as someone who has studied the evolution of molluscs for 12 years I can't say I have ever heard of anyone say "Mollusc's evolution"! Since this is a page about the 'evolution of Mollusca', I would like to see the established dates for the different types of Mollusk.
I did find some reference to different types
http://www.biology.ualberta.ca/courses.hp/zool250/Clades/clade08-Mollusca.htm
but no dates. --Captain twotoo 17:18, 7 December 2006 (UTC) Captain twotoo 17:18, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Cladograms
[edit]I removed one of the cladograms as it was duplicated many times - this just led to unnecessary confusion.

Cladograms and merging
[edit]Why is the first cladogram written in text when the second is shown in proper format? Can someone of greater knowledge convert the first one for better reading and simplicity? In addition, if this is an article about the evolution of Mollusca, then I am curious as to why this information cannot be merged with the Mollusca article (or whatever it is titled)? This article has no text talking about the evolution. It is just diagrams. Andrew Colvin • Talk 07:29, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
I realized that the first one was identical to the proper formatted one. I removed it but I still propose a merge. Andrew Colvin • Talk 07:32, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Discussion on title of taxon evolution pages
[edit]Hi, There is a thread here you may be interested in, about a consistent naming for articles dealing with evolution of taxa. Thanks! --Cyclopiatalk 17:09, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
