I saw the part "Other species that prey upon similar food resources include the caimans and large fish that are themselves piscivores.", so "and various crocodilian species" should not be removed, but the lead section does not mention the large fish as competitors. --NGC 54 (talk|contribs) 20:54, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Change "Unique markings of white or cream fur color the throat and under the chin, allow individuals to be identified from birth." to "Individuals are able to be identified from birth by unique markings of white or cream fur on the throat and under the chin."
As currently worded, "allow" should be changed to "allowing" to be grammatically correct. Instead of changing to "allowing", I am proposing the above rewording for simpler and less ambiguous language. Tteokbbokk (talk) 06:14, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
