Maxim Zorkin is a Dutch épée fencer and modern pentathlete. He has competed in national and international events, representing the Netherlands and other countries.


In 2023, he won the bronze medal at the World Veterans Criterium in Paris.[1] Current Dutch épée champion in all veterans' age categories.[2]

Achievements

  • Dutch modern pentathlon champion (2006, 2007).[3]
  • Awarded the Nationale Vijfkampkruis (Blue Cross) for contributions to modern pentathlon.[4]
  • Bronze medalist at the World Veterans Criterium, Paris (2023).[5]
  • Dutch épée champion in all veterans' age categories.[6]

In 2024, Maxim Zorkin competed in the 2024 Veteran Fencing World Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He placed 17th in the individual épée event in the 50+ category.[7][8]
