Rotarian philosophy
[edit]With this edit, I removed the philosophy component of the wikilink because sometime last year the Philosophy section was removed from the Rotary International wikiarticle. To be honest, the removal of that section leaves the Rotary article with a large hole: The article is now a lengthy one about an organization whose purpose is, consequent to that edit, a mystery to the reader. It was also a huge “hit” to the article with no discussion on the related talkpage. Perhaps it was an application of Wikipedia’s “be bold” ethos. Nevertheless, its being done by an administrator makes a mere commoner disinclined to revert it. (Such edits have a rather chilling effect on anyone seeking to remedy the situation.) — SpikeToronto 14:26, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
