Usernames for administrator attention
This page is intended for reports of usernames that are blatant and serious violations of the username policy requiring an immediate block. Reports will be assessed in accordance with the username policy, the UAA instructions, and the following bullet points. Please ensure you are familiar with the assessment criteria before making a report.
- Except in the instance of an egregious name violation, please do not report accounts with no edits or those who have not edited in the preceding 2 weeks.
- Real names are permitted, except when the editor implies they are someone other than themselves, such as impersonating a notable living person.
- Promotional names require evidence to be blocked. Do not report a username merely because it "appears" promotional.
- For libellous usernames or usernames that contain another editor's nonpublic personal information, please contact an oversighter and do not report it here.
- Discuss less-serious violations with the user on their talk page so that they can rename or abandon their account in good faith. Templates such as {{Uw-username}} or {{Uw-coi-username}} may be used. If, after discussion with a user, the problem still seems unresolved, a username request for comment may be in order.
- Do not leave a username warning on a user's talk page and also immediately report them here. Do one or the other, and not both simultaneously.
- Patrollers are asked to remove reports that have been declined, are bot-reported false positives or are otherwise non-blatant or stale reports.
Note: Patrollers may wish to monitor usernames flagged by filters 54, 148 and 149; private filters 102, 354, 499, 579; and this recent changes filter tag.

[edit]- Free2rhymes09 (talk · contribs · deleted · filter log · SUL · Google) • (block · soft · promo · cause · bot · hard · spam · vandal) – Violation of the username policy as a promotional username. Free2Rhymes (at least from what i googled) seems to be a soundcloud rapper. Tenebre_Rosso_Sangue, ULTRAKILLing Vandals! Call for Medic! My Stats! 15:42, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- Comment: So far their edits have been disruptive, so they might get blocked for vandalism. However, they haven't made any promotional edits, so as of now, it's not a username violation and may just be a coincidence with the rapper on Soundcloud. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 15:56, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- 2ybrand (talk · contribs · deleted · filter log · SUL · Google) • (block · soft · promo · cause · bot · hard · spam · vandal) – Violation of the username policy as a promotional username. See https://2ybrand.com/ Johnj1995 (talk) 21:12, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- Keep monitoring the user, until their username is more clear. They've tried to make promotional edits but have done a poor job of it so far. Perhaps they'll quit on their own. Otherwise, a block is in their future. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 00:16, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
- SAGAR HOTWANI ( an Indian businessman ) (talk · contribs · deleted · filter log · SUL · Google) • (block · soft · promo · cause · bot · hard · spam · vandal) – Violation of the username policy as a promotional username. Staraction (talk | contribs) 13:15, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
- Not a violation of the username policy. Real names are permitted except when they imply that the editor is a specific living person they are not. Consider filing a report at the conflict of interest noticeboard. It looks like the user confused creating an article with creating an account. If they are the named person, the username is fine(though a bit odd with the parenthetical part). If they're not, that's different, but we should try discussion first. 331dot (talk) 13:28, 10 January 2025 (UTC)

Also the user is engaged in a dispute, himself opened an incident claim here that was against him, and he changed his username claiming "clean start" just go back to the article in question to revert again (I guess to avoid 3RR)Rpo.castro (talk) 21:17, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Rpo.castro Not a violation of the username policy. That is the standard form of username used in the account vanishing process. They were renamed to that by a global renamer and then their account was globally locked. No edits have been made since the name was changed. --Ahecht (TALK
