The 2025 Syracuse mayoral election will be held on November 4, 2025. Incumbent mayor, Ben Walsh, is term limited, and can’t run for third term.[1]
Background
[edit]Deputy Mayor, Sharon Owens was the first Democrat to announce her mayoral campaign, on September 30, 2024, after announcing an exploratory committee.[2]
Other democrats, Jimmy Oliver and Pat Hogan, announced their candidacies, soon after.
