Councillor Clare Penny-Evans is a Labour Party politician in North East England who has served as Deputy Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner since July 2024.[1] She is a Councillor for the Heaton ward on Newcastle City Council.[2]

She is vice chair of the Overview and Scrutiny Coordination Committee, and has previously served on the Cabinet as Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Communities.[3]
