David White is a British make-up artist.
He has been nominated for 2 Academy Awards, and shortlisted for a nomination in the upcoming 97th Academy Awards for his work on Robert Eggers' 2024 version of Nosferatu (2024 film), where he realised the newest version of Count Orlock with his special effects makeup design. David is most well known for his work on the film Guardians of the Galaxy.
He was nominated at the 87th Academy Awards in the category of Best Makeup and Hairstyling for his work on the film Guardians of the Galaxy. His nomination was shared with Elizabeth Yianni-Georgiou.[1]
David is the owner of the company Altered States FX.[2]
