Filming
[edit]The filming of ANDAAZ 2 commenced in December 2023, and its principal photography was completed in the first half of 2024 on virginal & exotic locations in the Indian states of Gujarat & Rajasthan, besides sets in Mumbai. In fact, it is the first major Hindi feature film to have been shot extensively in the state of Gujarat.
Pre-Production
[edit]The script of ANDAAZ 2 was developed on the story of the Film Maker Suneel Darshan (alongwith Additional screenplay writer Dr. Dipan Bhatt) whose penchant for youthful family oriented movies include his past hits Ek Rishtaa - the bond of love (2001) starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Karishma Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Raakhee, Sunil Shetty etc., Barsaat - a sublime love story (2005) starring Bobby Deol, Priyanka Chopra & Bipasha Basu and Dosti - Friends Forever (2005) with a stellar cast of Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Kareena Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Juhi Chawla and others. by Sourabh Ratnu & Preeti Mamgain.
The Music Album
[edit]All 8 original songs composed by Nadeem of Nadeem Shravan fame with lyrics by Sameer & has been recreated in India by Suneel Darshan with music arranged by Apernit Singh & the Mixing and Mastering of the songs was done by Donal Whelan & Gethin John at Hafod Mastering, Wales, UK. The Music Album features celebrity singers including Shaan, Neeraj Shridhar, Palak Muchhal, Javed Ali, Amit Misha, Mohammed Irfan, Shadab Faridi, Debanjali & Asees Kaur.
