Craig Owusu Manu (born August 10, 1999) is a Ghanaian content creator, actor, and musician. He is best known as the leader of the *Konkoband*, a popular music and comedy group, and has become one of Ghana's most influential social media personalities.
Early Life

He completed his early education at Santa George International School and Mystical Rose Flower Academy, followed by Osei Tutu Senior High School. Craig further pursued his higher education at the University of Ghana, Legon, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Classics with Psychology.
Career
[edit]Craig started his career in 2015, initially creating content on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. His breakthrough came in 2019 when he formed *Konkoband*, a group that blends music and entertainment. In 2021, he gained significant attention when *Konkoband* collaborated with several popular Ghanaian musicians, including *Amerado*, *Kwami Eugene*, *Tulenkey*, *Guru*, and *Kweku Flick*.
Craig’s influence grew rapidly, thanks to his widespread presence on TikTok, where he has accumulated over 2 million followers, and his social media following across Instagram and X/Twitter, totaling over 135k and 19k followers, respectively. His unique style and musical collaborations made him a household name, leading to TV appearances on *Onua Showtime*, *TV Africa*, *Maxtv*, *MX24*, *Kessben TV*, and many more.
In 2024, Craig won the *Best Music Promoter of the Year* award at the *Ghana Emerging Awards* and also performed at the prestigious *Face of GIMPA* event. His group *Konkoband* continued to expand its presence in the Ghanaian entertainment scene, even hosting a major show at the *National Theatre*.
