Draft:Graylag Nature Preserve

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Graylag Nature Preserve is a 300-acre woodland preserve along the shores of Wild Goose Pond in Pittsfield, New Hampshire.

Graylag was opened as a boys camp in 1946 by the Geib family, and in 1952, basketball great Bob Cousy became a partner in what was then called Camp Graylag.

The site is tucked away in the woods and offers several programs designed to help strengthen our connection to nature, such as sketching, guided wildlife tours, and yoga.

Graylag offers six rustic cabins for the perfect restorative getaway:

Cousy Cabin

Legendary Boston Celtic point guard Bob Cousy was part owner of Graylag. This rustic cabin perched atop a hill overlooking the water.

Lakeside Cottage A spacious yet charming lodge with a breathtaking screened porch overlooking the pond.

Birches Family Lodge Bring the whole family, including in-laws, to this well-equipped cottage that sleeps 8.

Bower Cabin One or two guests will appreciate the quaint, romantic charm, the nearby firepit, and refreshing outdoor shower.

Oak Leaf Lodge This contemporary home up the hill from the old camp area can be your home away from home.

The Geib House A stunning four-bedroom retreat nestled in the forest.
