Jeremy Holm is an American actor best known for portraying Agent Nathan Green on the Netflix series House of Cards and as Mr. Sutherland on the USA Network series Mr. Robot.

Early life and education

Holm grew up in the community of Conifer, Colorado and received a B.A. from Colorado State University. He later earned an M.F.A from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.[1]

TV career

Beginning his television career in bit parts on the long-running soap operas All My Children and As the World Turns [2], Holm’s imposing look and stature afforded him regular roles as police officers, security guards, and government agents[3]. After landing a recurring role on the reality series What Would You Do?, he was cast as a regular on both House of Cards and Mr. Robot.

After starring as the titular villain in Jenn Wexler’s 2019 slasher film The Ranger, Holm has regularly performed in genre movies.[4]

Stage career

Holm has performed at BAM, New York City’s Cherry Lane Theatre, The Shanghai Centre Theatre, and in major regional houses including Arena Stage, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Clarence Brown Theatre, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, and The Cleveland Play House.[5]

Personal life

He met his wife, Dawn Wagner, while playing Vronsky in Anna Karenina at the Clarence Brown Theatre in Knoxville. They have two daughters.[6]
