The Kings' Concert of the Conservatório de Música do Porto is anually held in the city of Porto on the weekend after the Epiphaby holiday. It is known for being a major gathering event for new students, parents, allumni, and the city's most notable people. The performers are essentially students from the music school, but also other affiliated musicians or guests. Throughout the years, major works from Bach, Mozart, or André Waignein have been performed. For many years, Conservatório used Church of São Martinho de Cedofeita as the principle venue for this event. However, it has recently been moved to the majestic Igreja da Lapa (Porto).[1][2]
