Leilani Farm Sanctuary is a nearly eight-acre, 501 (c) (3) non-profit animal sanctuary in Ha’iku, Maui. The Sanctuary is home to nearly three hundred rescued animals, including goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, a donkey, geese, deer, cats, pigs, sheep, turkeys, guinea pigs and tortoises. its mission is to provide care for rescued animals and humane education to the community. History

Laurelee Blanchard, founder and president of Leilani Farm Sanctuary, left a promising career in commercial real estate to devote her life to animal protection and humane education. She established the Sanctuary in 2008.(1,11)

Programs

The Sanctuary offers humane educational programs for school groups, special-needs visitors and at-risk youth. Tours are also available to the general public. (2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10)
