Ranav Kshirsagar is an Indian actor and filmmaker who primarily works in Kannada cinema. He is known for his roles in films such as Yuvarathnaa (2021), where he portrayed a student alongside Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, and Yuva (2024), in which he played the antagonist Krupal opposite Yuva Rajkumar.[1] Kshirsagar has several upcoming projects, including ventures in Telugu cinema.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Ranav Kshirsagar was born on October 2, 1995, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology. His interest in acting developed during his college years, leading him to train at the Abhinaya Taranga Theatre Training School and the Usha Bhandary AAp Institute of Acting in Bengaluru.[2]
Career
[edit]Kshirsagar began his acting career with small roles in theater and film during his college years. His training in acting, coupled with his proficiency in action sequences and gymnastics, helped him transition into mainstream cinema.
In Yuvarathnaa (2021), he garnered attention for his portrayal of a student in a pivotal role. His performance in Yuva (2024) as the lead antagonist Krupal earned him further recognition in Kannada cinema.[3]
Kshirsagar has over four films scheduled for release, including his debut in Telugu cinema.
