Valentine Garacho
[edit]Valentine Garacho (born June 1, 1981) is a Zimbabwean entrepreneur and mining executive. He is the co-founder and CEO of Zerttew Global[2], a mining resources development company established in 2017, focusing on lithium exploration and sustainable mining practices in Zimbabwe. Under his leadership, Zerttew Global[3] has sought to position Zimbabwe as a key player in the global lithium battery supply chain .

[edit]Garacho was born in Mutare, Zimbabwe, and attended CBC Christian Brothers College in Bulawayo for his secondary education. He later enrolled at AFDA in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he majored in Producing and Directing. His educational background provided a foundation for his diverse career, which spans the mining and energy industries.
CAREER
In 2017, Garacho co-founded Zerttew Global, headquartered in Harare, Zimbabwe, with offices in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company focuses on the exploration and development of mining resources, with a particular emphasis on lithium projects. As part of its efforts, Zerttew Global has announced plans to establish a lithium processing plant in Zimbabwe, which would support the local economy and contribute to the global transition to electric energy solutions.[4]
