The DT125 R is a motorcycle model from the DT125 line, made by Yamaha Motor Company. It is a off-road/enduro bike, which is limited to 11kw, making it a popular bike for A1 license.

The DT125 R model was produced from 1983 to 2008. The most notable change from the previous models is the rear disc brake. The bike is equipped with a telescopic fork in the front and a monocross swingarm in the rear. The engine is the same as DT125 RE, TZR125, TDR125 and the Derbi GPR125. It is a single cylinder, liquid cooled, 2-stroke engine, equipped with YPVS (Yamaha Power Valve System), which produces great power from low to high RPM.
