Eaton is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census, the population of the civil parish was 289.[1] Congleton is the nearest large town.Buses serve the Village Monday to Saturday.
Tracey Mertens was set on fire in Christ Church in Eaton on 23 December 1994 , she died the following day. She was able to tell the police her two attackers were black men with Birmingham accents, but who also spoke Jamaican Patois.[2]
