Harltari village belongs to the Sonamayi Gaon Panchayat of Bilasipara sub-division of Dhubri district. It is 6 km from Sapatgram town and about 15 km from Bilasipara town.[1]
Population
[edit]According to the 2011 census, Haraltari village has a total population of 508, of which 250 are male and 258 are female. The literacy rate of this village is 69.69%. 74.80% of the respondents were males and 64.73% were females. The people of this village are Hindus.
It is bordered by Rabantari, Bhalukmari, Saltari, and Kalpani villages.
Education

Culture
[edit]Local temples include Durga, Kali, Daul, and Namghar temples. Popular festivals include Rangali Bihu, Tithi of Sankaradeva, Tithi of Madhavade, Birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Bhogali Bihu, Holi, and Pàlnàm.
