Lanexang Airways International (Lao: ສາຍການບິນ ລ້ານຊ້າງ ສາກົນ) is a Vientiane–based airline fully owned by Lanexang Airways International Co., Ltd (Lao: ບໍລິສັດ ລ້ານຊ້າງ ການບິນສາກົນ ຈຳກັດ). It provides scheduled air service to 6 destinations in Laos, including Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Bokeo, Xam Neua, Savannakhet and Pakse. The airline's main hub at Wattay International Airport uses a fleet that consists exclusively of the ATR 72. The company slogan is Fascination of Lao.[1]
The head office of Lanexang Airways International is located near the Department of Civic Aviation of Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Wattay International Airport, Souphanouvong Road, WangThong Village, Sikhottabong District, Vientiane.
History
[edit]The company was founded in 2021, and received their first aircraft in August 2023[2].
On 29 December 2023, Lanexang Airways International completes its inaugural flight[3].

Fleet development
[edit]In August 2023, Lanexang Airways International received it's first aircraft ATR72-500 from Vietnam Airlines[5].
On 1 November 2024, Lanexang Airways International announced that they've received their second ATR72-500 from Cambodia Angkor Air[6][7].
