Luke Edward Andrew Pearce (born 8 June 2004) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for EFL Championship side Cardiff City.[1]
Club career
[edit]He began his career at Walsall before spending three years in the youth academy at Southampton for whom he scored 30 goals from 71 games for their youth teams including six in nine in Premier League 2 during the 2023-24 season. He spent time on loan at Torquay United, Weston-super-Mare and Eastbourne Borough.[2][3]
After joining Cardiff City, he played on loan at Sligo Rovers in the League of Ireland in 2024.[4] He made his Cardiff City debut in the F.A. Cup away against Sheffield United in a 1-0 win on 9 January 2025.[5][6]
International career
[edit]He represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level.[7][8]
