Mahmood Alam (born 11 May 1973) is an Indian politician.[1][2] He is also known as Jharkhand agitator (translation in hindi: झारखंड आंदोलनकारी).[3] He is a member and at current he is a National general secretary of the Rashtriya Jankranti Morcha (RJM).[4][5] In the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections. He represent the Mandu constituency, he campaigned under the banner of the Rashtriya Jankranti Morcha.[6]
Early life and career
[edit]Alam's real name is Md. Mahmood Alam son of Barkat Ali.[7] He was born on 1973 in place of Bishnugarh, Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand. He studied in Sariya College, Sariya in 1994 Patna.[6]
