Sands Anderson PC is a United States law firm in Richmond, Virginia. It was founded in 1842 and now has nearly 80 attorneys[1] in five offices: Richmond, Christiansburg, Fredericksburg, and Williamsburg in Virginia; and Durham, North Carolina.[2] Sands Anderson offers a comprehensive range of transactional and litigation legal services to businesses, governmental entities, healthcare providers, and insurance companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.[3]

History

The firm traces its beginnings to 1842, when Alexander Hamilton Sands, fourteen years old, moved to Richmond, Virginia, to work in the law office of his brother William G. Sands.[4]
