Elopement
[edit]One interesting story about Art Smith is that he and his bride eloped in an airplane, the first time anybody ever did that. However, the plane was strong enough to carry his weight, but not the weight of the both of them. It crashed, and they both survived but were injured. They were married in the hospital.
