Nearly 10 years ago, this page was delete/re-directed to the article about the family of Trump. The top reason cited by the closing administrator was that the subject was a minor (child).

Barron Trump is no longer a child. In fact, he is much taller than Donald Trump.

I do not know Barron Trump sufficiently to have an opinion on the man but I believe that the primary reason for not having an article is moot. He was a child 10 years ago but is no longer a child.

The requested action is to end the protection so an editor may, if she or he wishes, start an article. I came to the article just to read it for information and found that Wikipedia lacks the information that I sought. I am not a political activist or a Republican party member.

Not done: The decision was not made 10 years ago, it was made six months ago. There is still clearly a consensus to not have an article on Barron. Primefac (talk) 18:45, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I read it wrong. Yes, 6 months ago. Too soon. After President Trump gets into office that is a different time point but frankly I don't care much about USA politics. ErrorCorrection1 (talk) 20:22, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless of them being 18 now, and a lot of American states treat 18 year olds as children when it comes to access to alcohol, they have no independent notability from their father. If their father wasn't who he is we would have no idea about Barron Trump. That was covered by a number of editors in the most recent deletion discussion TarnishedPathtalk 01:53, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Barron Trump

Barron William Trump (born March 20, 2006) is the youngest child of Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, and his wife, Melania Trump. Barron is the only child of Donald Trump and Melania and the youngest of Trump's five children. He garnered attention during his father’s presidency for his height, private lifestyle, and rare public appearances.

Early Life and Family Background Barron Trump was born in Manhattan, New York City. He spent his early years living at the Trump family’s penthouse in Trump Tower, located on Fifth Avenue. His mother, Melania Trump, originally from Slovenia, has emphasized her role as a hands-on parent, focusing on raising Barron with minimal involvement from nannies. Melania often referred to Barron as her "mini Donald" due to his resemblance to his father and similar interests.

Barron is multilingual; in addition to English, he speaks Slovenian, his mother’s native language, and some French.

Education Barron attended Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in Manhattan before relocating to Washington, D.C., when his father became president. After the family moved to the White House in 2017, Barron enrolled at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland. As of 2024, Barron is believed to be attending Oxbridge Academy, a private school in Palm Beach, Florida, where the Trump family has resided post-presidency.

Life in the Public Eye Barron first entered the national spotlight during his father's 2016 presidential campaign. Despite his father's prominence, Barron's parents have sought to shield him from the media. Melania Trump has often emphasized her dedication to maintaining a normal upbringing for her son.

During Donald Trump's presidency (2017–2021), Barron became the first presidential son to live in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. in the early 1960s. His public appearances were typically limited to official events such as the White House Christmas celebrations, the annual Easter Egg Roll, and state arrivals.

Barron gained widespread attention for his height, surpassing both of his parents by his early teenage years, reportedly standing at over 6 feet 7 inches tall.

Personal Interests While Barron’s life remains relatively private, it has been noted that he shares an interest in sports, particularly soccer. In 2017, he was seen wearing an Arsenal Football Club jersey, signaling his support for the English Premier League team. Additionally, Melania Trump has mentioned Barron's fondness for technology and building projects.

Post-White House Life Following Donald Trump’s presidency, the Trump family relocated to their Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. Barron continues to live away from the public eye, focusing on his education and personal pursuits.

They also forgot to provide reasoning why the recent AFD should be reversed. TarnishedPathtalk 11:41, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
