Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • Shouldn't the end date in the infobox be December 31, 2024 since that is what the table cites as the last date?
  • Shouldn't you use "it was held" instead of it is since the concert residency is not cited as continuing after this year?

Not done I believe more shows will be added. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:57, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Theater at MGM National Harbor is not sourced as being in Oxon Hill anywhere in the body and are you sure capitalisation should be used for "the" per MOS:THEMUSIC?
  • The Hooligans are not sourced anywhere as being an eight-piece band
  • "typically ended with" are you sure the present tense shouldn't be used here since you have for the rest of the concert info as such?
  • "praised the energetic and" → "praised the energy and"
  • Pipe MGM Resorts to MGM Resorts International
  • Where is the audience of all ages sourced in the body?
  • 2022 Billboard Music Awards → 2022 Billboard Music Awards

 Done

Background and development

[edit]
  • Per MOS:THEMUSIC, should the Theater at MGM National Harbor and any similar instances really be capitalised?
  • "The first show of the residence" → "The first show of the residency" for consistency
  • The last sentence of the third para should end with "at both the venues aforementioned into December 2021." since the year was not mentioned for multiple sentences by now
  • Fourth para looks good!
  • "including one on January 6, 2024," → "including one on January 6," to avoid overusing the year 2024

 Done

Cancelled and rescheduled shows

[edit]
  • "March 6 and 7 (2020) as" → "March 6 and 7, 2020, as"
  • "at Park Theater beginning" → "at the venue beginning"
  • The shows selling out within hours is not mentioned by the source

Concert synopsis

[edit]
  • The cover of "Pony" is not directly sourced
  • Wouldn't the mention of the power going out on NYE during "Locked Out of Heaven" work better as the sentence after the song's first mention?
  • If the mention of Ginuwine is the second one in the later para, remove duplicate wikilink
  • ""Doo Wop (That Thing)" and a" → ""Doo Wop (That Thing)", and a"
  • Last para looks good!

 Done

Reception

[edit]
  • "received positive reviews" → "was met with positive reviews"
  • "commented that"If the" → "commented: "If the" and re-invoke the ref at the end of this sentence per direct quoting
  • To avoid overquoting, re-word the first part of the second review to "wrote that these two kings"
  • 2022 Billboard Music Awards → 2022 Billboard Music Awards
  • Update the statistic to $124.5 million out of 410,00 tickets, as of December 2024

 Done

Shows

[edit]
  • Good

Canceled shows

[edit]
  • Good

References

[edit]
  • Copyvio score looks decent at 38.3%
  • Archive all of these using the tool; noticeably ref 39 is not archived
  • Wikilink KSNV on ref 12 instead of ref 37
  • Wikilink Las Vegas Review-Journal on ref 15 instead of ref 34
  • Cite KSNV as publisher and remove the staff author on ref 18
  • Wikilink Las Vegas Weekly on ref 19 instead of ref 35
  • Boston GlobeThe Boston Globe with the wikilink on ref 23
  • WP:OVERLINK of Billboard on ref 46

Drive-by: minor review points resolved

[edit]

Hi @MarioSoulTruthFan: and @Kyle Peake: Did some of the points for prose and ref formats in my recent edit to make the review faster. You may strike them out if it's good, otherwise ping me! RFNirmala (talk) 12:52, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@RFNirmala: The prose edits you have made are solid, although the ref problems still persist since they should not be linked past the first instance of each one being cited. --K. Peake 08:50, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think that would be against MOS:REPEATLINK, since citations stand alone in usage. You can clarify if I overlooked something. RFNirmala (talk) 08:56, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
RFNirmala If you are going to follow this guideline, then it is needed to be consistent and link Las Vegas Review-Journal on each occasion. @MarioSoulTruthFan: Any updates on the remaining suggestions? --K. Peake 11:06, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Thanks for the review. I have been away for a while. Give me a couple of days and I will star addressing your suggestions.
Kind regards, MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:38, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Kyle Peake: Everything addressed but one instance. Please let me know if anything else is needed or if I missed anything. Once again, thank you very much! MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:46, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

MarioSoulTruthFan Thanks for the response and happy new year, although the one thing missing is no archive on ref 39 — can you try looking this up through the Wayback Machine please? --K. Peake 17:15, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Happy new year for you as well! Sorry, it is now fixed! MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:59, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
