This point of this article seems to be to inform the readers that there once was a place called Enfield, MA. Apparently, and for unknown reasons, it was suddenly disincorporated, a building razed and now much of it is underwater. Is there no more information on what happened or was that, too, lost in the flood? What about the dam and the reservoir? Were there no protests? Was anyone killed?
