Visa
[edit]We need to make it clearer that this is a Visa, and the EU is no longer Visa Free. 2A02:908:187:E801:BDF8:F69C:C2E3:2FB1 (talk) 15:38, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- We don't, because it isn't a visa (and the EU was never visa-free and that has not changed). It is an advance notification of intention to travel to the EU from a country with which it has a visa waiver programme. It is not at all unusual: see Electronic System for Travel Authorization (United States); Electronic Travel Authority (Australia); Electronic Travel Authorization (Canada); New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority; Electronic Travel Authorisation (United Kingdom). The US ESTA system has been in operation for over ten years. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 20:58, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
