Just to remind people that unincorporated areas are a thing in Florida.

The location has an address saying "Miami FL" but it was not in the actual city limits of Miami. 1990 US Census Index Map for Dade County and page 57 (where the address would be) shows unincorporated area (and that's still unincorporated in 2024: see PDF p. 32/154)

The location has an address saying "Ft. Lauderdale, FL" but it is not in the actual city limits of Fort Lauderdale. See the index map of the 2010 census page for Broward County and page 58 which shows the area is unincorporated. The area is still unincorporated in 2024 (see PDF p. 59/99).

- By 1999 it moved to this address. In 2000 the area was in Dania Beach, and in 1990 from pages 110 and 111 the area was in Dania, so this meant that in the late 1990s and 2000s the HQ was in Dania/Dania Beach.

- From page 1 and page 4 (see SW 33rd Avenue @ Griffin) of the 2000 US Census Dania Beach map, the area was already in Dania Beach in the year 2000. It still was at that address in 2010, and indeed the place was and is in Dania Beach. Despite the "Fort Lauderdale, FL" postal address, it was not in Fort Lauderdale.

It's important to note that the USPS postal address city name does not always coincide with the actual municipal boundaries. The City of Houston stated: "The U.S. Postal Service establishes ZIP codes and mailing addresses in order to maximize the efficiency of their system, not to recognize jurisdictional boundaries."
