[edit]I made this page as I have an article which needs to link to the package. the text is copied from a manual licensed for unlimited distribution. --DuLithgow (talk) 22:52, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- Well, that makes this page even more problematic. If it's a direct copy from an official manual, that essentially makes it blatant promotion, supporting the claim made by whoever nominated the article. Besides, the article doesn't state why it's important. Rwiggum (Talk/Contrib) 22:57, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- The manual is for a quite different piece of software BRL-CAD and Jack is mentioned as a file format. I put this page here because otherwise it's damned hard to work out what the Jack file format is used for in Comparison of CAD software --DuLithgow (talk) 00:10, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
- I should just mention that the BRL-CAD Manual is freely redistributable and BRL-CAD itself is LGPL. --DuLithgow (talk) 11:22, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

- Agreed. I've now linked to the Jack (human modelling) in CAD SOftware Comparison --duncan.lithgow (talk) 12:32, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
