First sentence is not up-to-date
[edit]The first sentence of the lede of this article is does not seem to be up-to-date.
As of the most recent revision ("the 13:14, 7 January 2022" revision) of this article, the first sentence says:
Joyce Penelope Jacobsen2 is the President at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
That was probably true when it was written, but ... there is evidence that Joyce P. Jacobsen's tenure [her time] as President at Hobart and William Smith Colleges has either already ended, or (at least) that its [foreseeable] conclusion has already been announced.
Evidence
[edit]I happened to be reading an announcement on the web page at https://iop.harvard.edu/about/newsletter-press-release/message-iop-director-mark-d-gearan-78 and ... it starts out with a heading or "title" that says
A Message from IOP Director Mark D. Gearan '78
and then ... the 'body' of the message (or "announcement")
begins by saying that:
Dear Friends of the IOP,
I write to inform you of my decision to step down as Director of the Institute of Politics to return to Hobart and William Smith Colleges to serve as President, following the recent resignation of their president.
I could not find any ["as of"] date on that iop.harvard.edu web page, ... the web page that contains that message (or "announcement"); however, it was 'July 28, 2022' [in my time zone] when I read it, so the information has apparently been public knowledge ... starting no later than 'July 28, 2022'.
Edits to be done
[edit]For one thing,
- The lede of this article should be updated;
and ... by the way, - the information in this section should probably be mentioned on (or, at least, linked to from) the "Talk:" page for [the Wikipedia article about] "Hobart and William Smith Colleges".
