[edit]I have removed the proposed deletion tag on this article due to being able to find wide coverage of Khmer Airlines in news sources on Newspapers.com. I don't know the reliability of the information about it being a rename of the Khmer Akas airline, about which I see an article in the San Francisco Examiner (21 March 1971) that it is a new airline operating flights between Phnom Pehn and Battam-Bank, and Kompong Som. The articles about the Khmer Airlines' first flight were widely reported in October 1970. So I think those could have been two separate airlines. Another UPI story about Khmer Akbas possibly being a CIA or war profiteering front appeared around December 1970 to January 1971, such as in the Cedar Rapids Gazette 3 Feb 1971 on Page 17 and Columbia SC State on 1 Jan 1971 page 15. - Thank you for the explanation, most deprods don't bother. I'll look at it again. Greetings from Los Angeles, // Timothy :: talk 16:08, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
