Ending date

@TwinBoo Kingdom of Poland ceased to exist in 1795 with the partition of Poland. What's controversial about it? Marcelus (talk) 01:30, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There's nothing wrong about the date, it's just that the rest of the article focuses on Poland as a feudal monarchy, as the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland is the article for Poland post-Krewo. –TwinBoo (talk) 08:36, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No it isn't both articles aren't just a lecture of history, for that we have History of Poland during the Piast dynasty and History of Poland during the Jagiellonian dynasty etc. Articles about the Kingdom and the Crown are about political entities, they of course overlap, but the subject isn't the same. Kingdom was created in the 11th century, and ceased to exist as a political entity in 1795, and the Crown of the Kingdom was created in late 14th century, and also ceased to exist in 1795. I get what you mean. Personally I like the articles to form a linear timeline but if you think it’d be best to have them overlap I guess that’s fine too. —TwinBoo (talk) 21:57, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the understanding Marcelus (talk) 22:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
