En gallego crica es un molusco bivalvo y sólo por metonimia pasa a designar el órgano genital femenino (cfr. concha). La forma etimológica se conserva en el equivalente castellano clica 'molusco lamelibranquio marino', donde crica refleja el fenómeno característico del gallego de confusión de la líquida en los grupos con oclusiva: praia, branco, brusa, igrexa, etc . GALICIAN ABRUÑO - ASTURIAN ABRUNU
'prunus spinosa', 'sloe', dialectal agruño. From Vulgar Latin *aprūneu, from Latin prūnum. It has no relation withy Celtic *agrīnio akin to Irish áirne, Welsh eirin 'plum'; cognate of Occitan agranhon, Provençal agreno, Catalan aranyó,[1] Aragonese arañon, Spanish arándano (< *agran-dano). From *agrīnio it would turn out a non atested Galician **eiriño.
