Notability

[edit]

While the OWL Party may not be particularly notable as a political party, it was fairly notable as a political party spoof, and it has left a lasting impact in terms of the restriction of ballot access for minor-party and independent candidates in Washinton state. I've added a couple of references citing what was already there in the External Links. I think the tags should be modified or removed. --Haruo (talk) 22:21, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Since no one has come to the defense of the tags, I have removed them. --Haruo (talk) 03:00, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

I'm suggesting merging this into Elections in Washington (state). It's probably worth a mention somewhere that this organization caused a change in electoral laws, and once we cut out all the ChatGPT crap that's about all that will be left.

Third party (U.S. politics) could be another target. Alternately, would an article on the Supreme Court case be viable? I'm not sure if that's the "Munro v. Socialist Workers Party" case or if it's something else. Apocheir (talk) 04:17, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
