Infobox

[edit]

Dr. Fein's contributions may require a much more elaborate infobox. He seems to have borne for children: Alan Fein (wife Ellen Kolton); Michael Fein (wife Rose Srebro); Karen Fein (her husband Sean Anderson), and the late Bena Fein. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MaynardClark (talkcontribs) 20:20, 9 September 2014

Forename: Rashi

[edit]

I cannot currently document this, but I believe that Dr. Rashi Fein had once told me that he had been named for Rashi - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rashi - the medieval French rabbi and author of a comprehensive commentary on the Talmud and commentary on the Tanakh. Death by skin cancer

[edit]

Rashi Fein's death of skin cancer is not documented in this article, but it would qualify the article to be listed as 'Cancer deaths in Massachusetts'. MaynardClark (talk) 18:24, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What's up with the categories?

[edit]

@Snowycats, @MrSchimpf, @43.249.196.179: going to try to break up the edit war here. I'm in agreement with the IP that the recently added categories are a bit much. To be more specific: Universal health care, Medicare and Medicaid (United States), Urban economics, and World Health Organization all seem like tags, which WP:CAT specifically says to avoid. I'm not the most familiar with Wikipedia categories, so feel free to inform me if I'm wrong. Tessaract2Hi! 20:53, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Anon's edit appeared in Huggle for me and based on their combativeness as seen on their talkpage, and lack of any valid explanation along the way, Anon now has a pattern of doing this across a variety of pages. To me, it shows disruptive editing without any benefit. Snowycats (talk) 20:55, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive1174#User:Augmented Seventh for the IP's previous and recent history of disruption, including perplexing gravedancing on my talk page. They're also disrupting a user's sandbox and have been warned against doing so; I'll cease from the mentioned page for now. Nate (chatter) 20:58, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed with Nate - will leave things be, and will let things play out, hoping anon can discontinue behavior, or reasonably justify. Snowycats (talk) 21:00, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That ANB thread is from an archive. Unless I'm missing something, it's already played out. Ignoring the IP, I still think the cats I mentioned above being added here break WP:CAT, I'm curious if you have any reasons why they wouldn't. (I know that with the IP out of consideration that I'm against consensus here, so now I just want to understand the reasoning.) Tessaract2Hi! 21:07, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Disruptive anon here. Well no I am not disruptive.
The way I see it is that @Snowycats, @MrSchimpf do not understand categorisation. When I was a logged in editor I did some categorisation work but only AFTER I figured out how to do it. 43.249.196.179 (talk) 09:02, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
