English settler Peter Schuyler

According to the Wikipedia page of Peter Schuyler he is born from two Dutch parents. So I presume hè is an American of Dutch decent. Or is hè English because America was English? 84.241.192.187 (talk) 20:40, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
