Americanski!

All That's Interesting claims that Rosenthal shouted “Americanski! Coca-Cola! Lucky Strike! Roosevelt, Churchill, Stalin!” but the contemporary newspaper articles scanned by the 100th Bomb Group Foundation only report that he shouted "Americanski!" (or "Amerikansky!"). I think the primary sources are more likely to be correct, so in the spirit of WP:Be Bold, I've removed the claim that he shouted the names of politicians and American products. However, I'm happy to be proven wrong if anyone has a better source! Birdsinthewindow (talk) 03:27, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
