Should redirect to the song "Stompin' At The Savoy" (not to Benny Goodman)

[edit]

"Stomping At The Savoy" (instead of "Stompin'") is a common misspelling of the song title most readers would be looking for. This search term should redirect the entry for the song "Stompin' At The Savoy". to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stompin%27_at_the_Savoy

The redirect to Benny Goodman's discography is purportedly because of a 1992 album of that title. That album is one of many, many Goodman anthologies, and not individually significant. (The album was only compiled 6 years after Goodman's death, and 58 years after his recording of the song.)

The song (and search term) is more accurately accurately ascribed to bandleader Chick Webb (whose band member wrote it) than to Goodman, who later had the bigger hit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.33.118.116 (talk) 19:31, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
