Syrian Scientific Studies and Research CenterCentre d'études et de recherches scientifiques – Article itself states French name is more famous. Also current English version does not exist but is a free English translation.   • Oppose. Not sure what "current English version does not exist" means; certainly some sources call it "Scientific Studies and Research Center" as seen in [1] or other search results. It may or may not be true that SSRC is "better known by its French acronym, CERS", as claimed in the source [2] cited in the article, but in any case the recognizability of the acronym CERS is not the same thing as the recognizability of the full French phrase.
