Non-free references are acceptable if otherwise valid … but free are better. That or if you can use what's in the free abstract.
There are more out there if you dig around. --A. B. (talk • contribs) 17:27, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

- I've reinstated the paragraph about the 2004 sting candidacy. I've got a citation-needed tag on it, but as I noted in the edit summary, I see that these sources back up the gist of the claims, and it's just a matter of verifying specific claims. If nobody else has expanded or is working on it, I'll take a go at expanding it based on those sources after lunch. —C.Fred (talk) 16:43, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Pruning per BLP
[edit]I've removed the uncited negative content. I see there is a discussion about sourcing above; feel free to reinstate once the content is sourced to your (collective) satisfaction. Please attempt to add other details about this man's life and career; otherwise this article runs the risk of being an attack article. KillerChihuahua?!?Advice 16:48, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
- Ditto. This article placed undue weight on legal charges and criminal investigations, without saying anything about the subject's accompishments during his four terms as mayor, or anything else about his life. If stuff like that isn't added, then the negative stuff needs to he removed permanently.Anythingyouwant (talk) 17:01, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Fork/new article
[edit]A new article has been created at 2004 Logan County, W.Va. Political Scandal. This title was turned into a redirect to that one. Should this page be history-merged into that one? —C.Fred (talk) 20:18, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
- I think everything is okay now. This talk page discussion can stay here the way it is.Anythingyouwant (talk) 21:56, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
