[edit]The 1975 switch of Yukon from YST to PST should be in the first sentence, as it is an essential fact about the history of time in Yukon. On the other hand, the 1971/72 technical reference change (from GMT to UTC) should not be in the first sentence, as it is only tangential to this time zone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Set theorist (talk • contribs) 02:28, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Above comment is now an anachronism as the new Yukon Standard Time timezone was re-established in 2020, and so the beginning of the article needs to focus on the extant timezone. Pxtl (talk) 16:32, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
