Wrong link
[edit]This template apparently assumes that all page titles of the form "X'ian Army", where X is the name of a modern European country, will lead to the article on that country's army. This is currently not true for "Macedonian", as Macedonian Army redirects to the army of ancient Macedon, not the modern republic. There is currently a discussion which may lead to the redirect to be changed into a disambiguation page, but "primary usage" arguments make it unlikely that it will be turned to the other redirect that would be needed for this template to work. Can the automatic behaviour of this template be overridden to get the correct link? Fut.Perf. ☼ 13:25, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, the automatic "XY Army" link can be overridden for single countries as described in Template:European topic#Altering the link used for a specific entity. --Novarupta (talk) 18:45, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
