I am removing the religions that are claimed by less than one percent (1%) of the Scottish population. Generally speaking, these are the religions of foreign residents of the UK and other non-citizens living in Scotland. These quantitatively small groups could be included in the associated article, but it is misleading to include it in an infobox like this one. It should be noted that this is the norm for Wikipedia. Such religions are often included under the heading "Other" rather than independently. 67.101.243.7417:19, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh lord... you again. It is the norm. Have your way with this one, too. Go around reverting all things that make Scotland unique... You are such an irritating editor to engage in a dispute since you aren't usually even civil enough to respond to people's questions and suggestions, so please just do as you like here. I'll let someone else remake the change if its important to others. 67.101.243.7419:30, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I can't find evidence to support the statement that minority religions in templates such as this get grouped under "Other". I agree that the three religions in question represent a small part of the Scottish population, but the associated articles are informative (especially the Judaism one) and added to the more prominent religions, mean the template provides a comprehensive list of the faiths of Scottish people.
I have restored the religions to the template, but would welcome the advancement of reasons for their deletion (other than the 'norm' argument which does not appear to be correct). Euryalus03:43, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
