Withdrawl?

The table has the United States withdrawing in 1938. Is there more information about this? The main 1938 FIFA World Cup page mentioned Anschlussed Austria withdrawing, but no mention of the United States. --John (User:Jwy/talk) 02:06, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
