Trawniki [travˈniki] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubomia, within Wodzisław County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Lubomia, 14 km (9 mi) west of Wodzisław Śląski, and 58 km (36 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice.

Etymology

The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word trawnik, which means "lawn".[2]
