West African Nationalism
[edit]7-8 Dcember 1953 a meeting of West African nationalists took place in what was then the Gold Coast in Kumasi. Participants at the meeting included:
- Mallam Aminu (Kano)
- Nnamdi Azikiwe
- W.F. Conton (Sierra Leone)
- Chief H.O Davies
- Fumnilayo Ransome-Kuti
- A journalist from Liberia
A resolution adopted at the end of the meeting[1]
