This article is about Sarah Geronimo, a Filipino singer who had her breakthrough after winning the talent show Star for a Night in 2003. She has had a prolific music career, and has starred in a couple of the most successful films in the Philippines. She was honored with a Global Force Award at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music event in Los Angeles, California.

This is part of my plan to improve coverage of Filipino entertainers in Wikipedia, as was done with Regine Velasquez, Judy Ann Santos, Angel Locsin, Kyla, Rachelle Ann Go, among others. Mariah Carey (born 1969) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. She rose to fame in 1990 with her self-titled debut album and has released fifteen studio albums, most recently Caution (2018). Known for her five-octave vocal range and signature use of the whistle register, she has been dubbed the "Songbird Supreme" by the Guinness World Records. Carey is one of the best-selling music artists, with over 220 million units sold worldwide, and holds the record for the most number-one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 by a solo artist. In addition, her singles have spent a record 97 weeks on the chart, and Carey is the only artist to have their first five singles reach number one on the chart. The recipient of various accolades, she has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress. Rolling Stone ranked her as the fifth-greatest singer of all time in 2023.
