Frontman Phil Rind has made several statements regarding Donald Trump and his supporters.

In 1999, Phil Rind began practicing Tibetan Buddhism. Rind stated that "before that [Buddhism] I was a raging ego, selfish piece of shit, crappy human", with Rind expressing it was "the biggest positive thing in my life" in several interviews.
